Saratoga Flag

"Sarah" is a 2005 16 hand TB mare. Sound and sane, she is a pleasure to ride in dressage, showjumping and cross-country. Very intelligent, has some natural horsemanship training. Great ground manners, ground ties, very friendly. Easy flying changes and transitions. Goes all three phases in a snaffle.
She recently competed in her first novice event, went clean and finished 2nd. Placed 2nd at UNH (BN) with a dressage score of 26.2. She has experience competing all over Area I at Beginner Novice with an amateur (my father!). She is spending February and March in Aiken, SC in professional training with Suzi Gornall, which she has also done for the past two years. She was a favorite at the USEA Adult Camp this past summer.
Sarah would be a perfect horse for a young rider to move up on or a steady novice horse for an adult amateur. She could also excel at dressage or showjumping. We bought her several years ago and expected her to grow more, but she stayed 16 hands and is really too small for my dad.
Asking $13,000, price will increase with training. E-mail carcorteich@gmail.com for more information.
