Orchard Hill 2008 Adult Camp

On a Saturday evening in October, twelve parents of summer campers had the opportunity to see what their daughters learned first hand in Orchard Hill’s adult camp clinic.  Under Claudia’s guidance, the parents each learned to groom and tack up a horse or pony and then rode in the indoor arena.  Caroline demonstrated a few dressage and jumping skills on Larkspur, and then the group moved inside for wine and cheese and a lesson in horse anatomy and care from Linda.  Students and teachers enjoyed the session and are contemplating an advanced session later in the winter.
