Start with a gallop around the field (about 3/4 mile).

 

 

Sunken Road / Steps

 


This "Sunken Road" and steps are an easy start to a course

12" drop followed by 12" and 18" steps

 

Logs

 

Single (12"-18") logs are along many of the gallop tracks

Triple logs (2'6" high, 3' spread) are great warm-ups too


Ditches
 
 
 


Start your horse on this Half Ditch, only 12" high

Then move up the the Full Ditch 18" drop and 30" spread

 

Coop

 

Cathy's Coop is an inviting Beginner Novice level jump- 2'6" high, 3'6" spread

 

 
Trakhener  

The Trakhener is only about 2' high, but the ditch below gives the appearance of a 5' spread

The Oxer is adjustable, but usually set for
Novice level- 2'9" high and a 3' spread

 

 

Roll Top

 

 

 

 

Jay's Roll Top is a full-height Novice jump
